The home was exactly as described, and the hosts were very responsive. I appreciated that they checked in with us the morning after our first night to see how everything was going. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, yet close to grocery stores, etc. A very nice home to relax and unwind in. Thank you!

This house was perfect for our family along with another. It has a loft upstairs, which is nice because the kids can go up there and be loud while the babies nap/etc. We did not have Internet due to a power outage that happened a couple days before we had gotten there, but Jen was very responsive and tried to help me fix it for hours. It’s very close to the village. It was about a 10 to 15 minute drive to the mountain and tubing.

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. We were here to ski/board at Snow Summit and the location was perfect. My kids loved the loft area. The place was cozy and clean, and easily one of the best airbnbs we stayed at in Big Bear!

We had a great time here! We only stayed for half a day and night but we made the most of it! There’s definitely lots to do, it’s walking distance to the village and shops, there’s a game room, and hot tub. The check out process was quick and easy, definitely simpler than most homes you see on Airbnb. Beautiful home!

Jeroen & Jen were very kind, accommodating even when we decided to last minute stay an additional night! The place itself was stunning! Felt like we were in a Christmas movie & the backyard our large dog didn’t want to leave lol!! Lots of fun for the family, dogs, close to everything. Wonderful Airbnb!

Jeroen and Jen were fantastic hosts. We went up with a few couples and their property was more than accommodating. Location was very central to restaurants and bars. Backyard was perfect for throwing a BBQ with s’more’s by their fire pit. Very reasonably priced for the amenities that were offered. Can’t wait to book again.

This is a large house on a quiet street. Probably more than we needed for our family of three and dog. The location was great. If you, like us, enjoy walking and aren’t afraid of a few hills you can walk to the Village, ski slopes, and hike all within 30 minutes. The hosts are very prompt communicators and problem solvers. When we noticed there were only two spoons in the kitchen, a bunch more were delivered to the house within an hour. One thing to note is that the bed in the primary bedroom is not the way it’s shown in the pictures. It’s on a very tall bed frame. Good thing to know if you’re short or have trouble getting into tall beds.

Great stay here! Easy to get to trails, the village and everything we wanted to do. Clean house, cozy interior and a great hot tub and hammock under the trees in the backyard. Such a relaxing weekend here!!

This place was super warm and welcoming. It felt very homey. The aesthetic of the place was nice. They had alot of accommodations and it was easy to access to home. The hosts were super friendly and helpful.

We brought our entire family - including our two golden retrievers - and had a great time. Jeroen and Jen were wonderful hosts and their home is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, clean, and cozy. Our dogs loved the large enclosed yard, and we loved the open floor plan and large fireplace. There was still snow when we arrived and we had gorgeous weather our entire stay. The house is located in a peaceful neighborhood that's central to shopping, the lake, the Village, sledding, bowling, and other fun family activities. My favorite place was the deck, where I loved to sit with my cup of coffee while listening to the birds, surrounded by the magnificent trees of Big Bear. Grateful we were able to make some amazing family memories in such a special place. Thank you Jeroen and Jen!

What an amazing week at this cabin! The fenced backyard was amazing for our kiddos and the hot tub was so fun. The neighborhood is perfectly close to town but feels secluded when you want it to be. We took daily walks and just enjoyed the surroundings. The game room was perfect for the kids and super comfy beds!

We had so much fun staying at Jeroen and Jen’s place! The house was beautiful and open, big enough for 6 people. They also had a cute little food and water bowl for my friend’s cat that we brought with us which was super nice. The location was also very convenient, it was right in the middle of the main stores and fast food places. They also responded super quick to any questions we had! 10/10 would come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Jeroen & Jen’s lovely cabin! The place is super clean and cozy, and conveniently located close to town & the lake! Their local recommendations guide was also fantastic, we consulted it several times for various reasons from hikes to bars to brunch spots! All were wonderful. We did not utilize the loft/game room space, but it looked like it would be really fun for a family with kids!

We had a fantastic stay! The house is beautiful and extremely comfortable with tons of space to hang out and areas of entertainment. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful with any questions. It’s also very well located, only a few minutes from grocery stores and De La Nonna which we had a lovely dinner at. Overall amazing stay and would come back.

Incredible stay in Big Bear! The house was a beautiful escape from city life. Great private location for our family and very dog friendly. We especially enjoyed the inside and outside jacuzzi! The fireplace was nice for the cooler evenings and my daughter had her first s’more. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had such a fun family trip at Jen and Jeroen’s listing! The home was stunning, the backyard was perfect and we were truly able to relax! Jen was incredibly responsive and sooo accommodating. Spent the majority of our days in the backyard - whether we were grilling or just enjoying the weather. Was perfect (and safe!) for our 1 year old daughter and pups. I will definitely be staying here for future big bear trips :) thank you Jen and Jeroen!

Overall this was a really great place to stay! The house was very comfortable and nicely updated, and the hot tub and fire pit were great to have. They left s’more supplies for us and the house was well supplied with everything we needed. With the hot temperatures the weekend we went, it did get a bit hot inside, but that’s not an issue obviously most of the year. An overall good experience.

The place was better than we imagined! Loved being surrounded by all the tall trees and how peaceful the neighborhood was. It felt like we were the only ones there! The backyard was amazing for our dogs to also enjoy o vacation, they had so much room to roam and play. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, my wife and I are already talking about coming back for the winter!

Wonderful house in a nice and quiet neighborhood near the downtown area with a lot of space and more amenities than we knew what to do with. The neighborhood is built among trees and the fenced yard was great with our dog. Everything was clean and in good repair and we enjoyed our stay. The hosts were easy to reach and accommodated our early check-in. Overall it was a great place to stay—thank you!

Jeroen and Jen’s place was beautiful and felt very homey. The jacuzzis were such a great addition that we enjoyed using. The patio furniture did not have any cushions but we enjoyed using the outside table and chairs. The house was beautifully pictured and shown in the pictures and description.

We had a great time and the house was just as advertised. Everything worked properly including the air hockey, firepit, bbq, and hot tubs. They had plenty of plates, silverware,as well as towels, games, etc.
