The Cub House

Our stay was wonderful, this cabin is absolutely beautiful. The high ceilings and large windows gave the home a warm, inviting atmosphere. We had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, just a few blocks from Starbucks, Vons, and Big Bear Village. The hosts were very kind and stayed in contact throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this place and would happily rent again.

Jeroen and Jen’s place was perfect for our staycation in Big Bear- the location is perfectly situated and the home provided everything we needed! They were also responsive and great to interact with!

This house is absolutely perfect for a large family. We had 8 family members stay and it was so comfy, the fact that we can bring our beloved dog with us is the cherry on top!! Book this place you won’t be disappointed!

This home was as described and did not disappoint. We had a family of nine of us which included two children stay during the weekend after Christmas. Although we didn’t have much snow, which we were hoping for, the amenities inside the home kept us busy and we enjoyed our time together. Thanks again.

We were absolutely delighted with Jeroen and Jen’s place. The location is PERFECT especially for families with kids and “fur” babies. The house is super close (short walk) to a wonderful park for kids and pets. The town is literally a 3-5 min drive away with all the shops and restaurants big bear has to offer. The home was clean and a perfect layout and the backyard was amazing. The get our highest recommendation!

My group of friends and I have been coming to big bear each fall for the Oktoberfest celebration. This Airbnb was easily our favorite home that we have stayed at in all these years. The cub house is clean, comfortable, has a wonderful yard and room for everyone in your group! 10/10 would stay here over and over again in the future!

Spent my birthday here with some friends and I loved the layout/design of this place! There were a lot of games and the yard was great for the dog! Jeroen and Jen were very helpful and responsive and answered any questions I had!

From the start, your hospitality was wonderful—you let us check in early and kindly allowed a later check-out because of my husband's health. Even though we left earlier than planned, we truly appreciated your understanding. The cabin was perfect—cozy, spacious, and well-equipped. We and the kids had a great time. The location was fantastic, close to Summit and Big Bear Village, making our outings easy. We also appreciated the small details like the trash disposal nearby. This trip was very special to us, especially since my sister announced she's pregnant, due in August 2026. We will always cherish the memories we made here. The one-story layout was great for our family, and the gated backyard was perfect for the kids and our dogs. They loved the space as much as we did. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations. Jeroen and Jen were wonderful hosts, not only was the cabin everything we hoped it would be but they were extremely kind and flexible with checking and allowing us to bring our dogs. My mom has Alzheimer’s and traveling can be difficult so their fast response times and accommodating check in really made things easy for me. Our families three little ones loved the cabin and all of the games it had to offer (especially the ping pong and the giant Jenga). The large yard was the perfect play space for our dogs as well as for the kids to play in the play house. Everything felt cozy, safe, clean and just how you hope your time in the maintains will be. We truly loved our stay and would love to stay again in the future!

Booked this beautiful spot for my mom’s 60th birthday. They were so accommodating as there were 10 of us + 3 dogs! We absolutely had so much space considering there were so many of us. We loved all of the amenities given and had so much fun together! Jen and Jeroen are experts at responding to any questions we had and are genuinely good people! Thank you again and we hope to come back soon!

Jen and Jeroen's place was absolutely beautiful. the house was big to accommodate our group, the backyard was very peaceful. The jacuzzi and playground set was a huge plus. Our kid had a blast with the games and the upstairs small loft. The place was clean, close to the downtown village, had all the needed amenities and the host was very responsive. We absolutely loved the house. It was perfect for our group which included young kids and dogs. We felt right at home and took advantage of all the amenities the house had to offer. The neighborhood is also fantastic and great for walks.

house was wonderful, great space, bed were soft backyard was large. everything was nice and clean when we arrived and Jen was respondful and even gave local recommendations regarding where to access the lake. would definitely book with them again.

Great home for family vacations as the backyard playground and hot tubs were big hits. Spacious home with lots of amenities. The hosts were extremely responsive and tried to mitigate an unexpected power blackout.

A great place for our family vacation. Fences yard was great for our dogs. Play structure great for our youngster, ping pong great for our oldest, and easy walk to the park and an easy drive to the Village
